Are Jupiter products paraben-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free?
Yes, all Jupiter products are paraben-free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free. They’re not needed as part of your scalp care routine for effectively treating flakes. We use the anti-dandruff active ingredient Zinc Pyrithione in certain products to tackle flakes, and lots of moisturizing and nourishing ingredients throughout our entire collection.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes — wherever and whenever possible. And, our shipping boxes are made from post-consumer recycled cardboard. Our goal is to move to post-consumer recycled bottles in the near future.
How long until I see results?
Every scalp is different. If you use our dandruff shampoo and conditioner regularly as directed, you may start seeing the results quickly. For some, it may take up to 1-2 weeks while your scalp finds its balance. But trust us, it’s worth the wait.
How often should I shampoo?
If you don’t already have a scalp care routine, we recommend using our Balancing Shampoo 3-4x per week to start (but it’s safe for everyday use). Increase the frequency if you’re still experiencing some flaking or oiliness (or need more severe dandruff treatment), and decrease the frequency if you’re experiencing dryness.
